RCB rope in Harpreet Singh as a replacement for injured Sarafaraz Khan

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE have roped in Madhya Pradesh batsman Harpreet Singh Bhatia as a replacement for injured Sarfaraz Khan, for the remainder of IPL 10.

Harpreet, who has represented India U-19 in the past, has previously also played for Sahara Pune Warriors in IPL. The southpaw had a consistent run in the domestic limited-overs competitions for Madhya Pradesh and finished as the leading run getter of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Inter-Zonal tournament for Central Zone in 2016-17. His addition to the squad is expected to allow some room for the team management with respect to selection.

The Bangalore franchise’s next fixture is against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on April 23.
