UFC Kansas City Results: Johnson ties record, Namajunas and Whittaker secure wins
Demetrious Johnson added yet another dominant win to his resume at Kansas City when he submitted Wilson Reis.
This was the 10th successful title defense for Johnson and this, in turn, ties him with the record of former Middleweight champion Anderson Silva for most title defenses. Johnson secured the win via an armbar in the third round.
In the co-main event, Rose Namajunas got the better of Michelle Waterson when she submitted her opponent in the second round. The surprise of the night, however, came thanks to Robert Whittaker, who defeated Ronaldo Souza via a TKO.
Souza came into the fight with a freshly signed eight-fight contract and the defeat will be a major setback for him. Renato Moicano was another notable winner on the main card. You can read the full results below.
