Karman Kaur Thandi is inching towards the US Open Girls title
KARMAN KAUR THANDI at the age of 17 she has made herself and the country proud with her on the court performance at the ongoing US Open in New York.
She is through to the pre-quarters of the girl's singles beating Evgeniya Levashova of Russia 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Her road to the pre-quarters were filled with hurdles as she defeated world no. 20 and 28 in the first and second round respectively.

Her next game will be a real test as she will be up against world no. 2 in the pre-quarters. On her Facebook page she has urged all the Indians to back her so she can do even better and move closer to the title.
