Will attack KXIP just like we did against RPS, says Amit Mishra

DELHI DAREDEVILS leggie Amit Mishra believes that his bowling attack is second to none in the IPL.

Mishra, wants his side to attack KXIP the same they did against RPS. As reported by PTI, the 34-year-old said,

“We did a decent job last year and I am sure we will do better than the last time. We have a lot of all-rounders and our bowling has depth. Attack is the strategy. I am happy to have bowled the way I did (against RPS). We have a better bowling attack. The last two matches have gone well, I will try to do my best.”

Speaking about the youngsters in the squad, Mishra said that they are in a very good space under the mentorship of Rahul Dravid.

“We are giving the youngsters opportunities. There is no pressure on them. Rahul (Dravid) as mentor and coach has given them freedom. They are in a good space.”

When asked about their playing XI, Mishra stated that the team management will need around 7-8 matches to find the best combination.

“At this juncture a bit of experimentation can be done. We will soon sort out our XI. In about 7-8 matches we will know our XI.”
