East Bengal officials to discuss the club's poor form with Trevor Morgan

THINGS SLIPPING OUT OF THE HANDS for East Bengal, the points have slipped, the performances are below par, title hopes are also slipping by after every round. East Bengal enjoyed their time at the table top for a while but slowly the team seemed to not be threatening enough to bridge the gap between themselves and the league leaders.

After the loss against Mohun Bagan, coach Trevor Morgan, in the post-match press conference was blunt in his views about the lacking desire of the team and blamed various things on the loss in the the poor show in the recent rounds. He even hinted at a possible exit following the loss.

Today the club officials are to meet the discuss the things that could be reason for East Bengal being unable to get a strong hold on the title race. And the comments made by Morgan in the post-derby might also find place among the talking points in the meeting.

Senior club official Debabrata Sarkar said on Tuesday,

"We will have a meeting with the coach on Wednesday evening. We will try to find out the reasons behind the team's poor showing. We will discuss everything threadbare. But as of now, we have no plans to sever ties with the coach," as reported by The Telegraph.
