Play-by-Play: Soosai Raj and Charles on target; Chennai score two past Minerva Punjab

BOTH THESE TEAMS WERE AIMING to get their noses in front being the newly introduced team in the I-League this year. The game began very slow with fouls being happening almost every minute and that meant a lot stoppages and no free flow of passing game.

Only in the second half the pace and passing picked up and it was pleasant to wathc the competiveness. There were not too many chances in the game, The best oppourtunities were created and finished by the duo of Soosai Raj and Charles. For Minerva, Amobi and Thapa were involved in most of the gameplay. 

The match turned in the favour of Chennai as they scored the second and decisive goal very late in the game.
