READ: Brad Hodge apologizes for his remarks on Virat Kohli
FORMER AUSSIE BATSMAN Brad Hodge has apologized for his remarks on Virat Kohli after the India skipper pulled out of the fourth Test against Australia due to a sore shoulder.
Hodge came under fire from the subcontinent for drawing a poor inference and stating that the Delhi-lad withdrew from the deciding final Test to undergo recuperation and to save himself for IPL, starting April 5. During an interaction with FoxSports, the retired Aussie also said,
“You’d hope as a sportsman that he’s seriously injured.”
However, recently, Hodge, who is also the coach of Gujarat Lions, took to his twitter account and said that he respects Kohli and means no ‘ill intention’.
