Darren Bravo under injury cloud ahead of KKR’s IPL 10 campaign

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS faced an injury scare when West Indies batsman Darren Bravo was hit with a rising delivery.

The 28-year-old was acquired by the Kolkata franchise for Rs 50 lakhs during the 2017 IPL players auction. As reported by PTI, the southpaw was hit on his right forearm by a short ball from Ankit Rajpoot and he was soon seen grimacing in pain. According to team sources, the injury is not serious and he did not bat again at the nets as a precautionary measure.

On the other, while KKR all-rounder Yusuf Pathan has joined practice on March 27, skipper Gautam Gambhir is slated to join the practice soon.
