Saina donates 6 lakhs to families of CRPF jawans killed in Chhattisgarh last week
AFTER RETURNING from All England tournament, Saina Nehwal is all set show her side of giving and caring. She turned 27 today and she has announced a donation of Rs. 50,000 each to 12 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans who were killed in the attack in Chhattisgarh last week.
She said that her heart goes out to the families,
"My heart goes out to our soldiers who put their lives at risk to keep us safe. I can’t bring those soldiers back who lost their lives in Chhattisgarh but in my small way I want to donate this six lakhs for those families," said to PTI.
The jawans were killed by the Naxalites in Bhejji.
