Overview 

Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Marsh won't be playing this game. Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins might come in for the Ranchi game. For India, Murli Vijay is likely to return as an opener. We expect the pitch to crumble quickly.

IND- Vijay, Rahul, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Saha, Ashwin, Jadeja, Jayant/Karun, Ishant, Umesh

AUS- Warner, Renshaw, S Marsh, Smith, Handscomb, Maxwell/Agar, Lyon, Cummins, Wade, Hazlewood, O’Keefe

Players who cannot be ignored 

Kohli- After failing in the first two tests, we expect the Indian skipper to hit back. Remember, great players don't fail often. 

Ashwin- He has been picking most of the wickets for India and we expect the trend to continue. 

Lyon- If the pitch offers any assistance, this offie will surely come into play. Should be bowling the bulk of overs. 

Smith- His patience and class will bring runs. The Aussie skipper looks best equipped to succeed in India.
