SRH FOREIGN ASSETS: All-round strength and balance make Sunrisers dangerous
FOUNDED IN 2012 as a replacement for Deccan Chargers, the Hyderabad franchise made it to the playoffs of 2013 and clinched the trophy in 2016. The success in the last IPL permitted the Orange Army to not tinker much with the squad. The franchise released a bunch six players, including Eoin Morgan and Trent Boult.
Sunrisers Hyderabad entered the IPL 2017 players auction with a squad strength of 17 and purse balance of Rs 20.9 crore. SRH spent Rs 4 crore on Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan Arman as they acquired eight players during the event. Among the other overseas names were Ben Laughlin, Mohammad Nabi and Chris Jordan.
