#TFGinterview: Paulo Bananada: Indian fighters will be international Superstars in the Coming Years

Paulo "Bananada" Gonçalves Silva has nothing short of an illustrious career in Mixed Martial Arts being part of illustrious teams and associated with legends such as Anderson Silva and more.

Paulo has confidence in the Indian MMA fighters

Having 22 wins and 11 losses in his career, he is one among the most experienced mixed martial artists in Brazil who had been a part of events around the world.

With the legendary Anderson Silva as a constant presence in his corner, Paulo fights out of one of the best teams in the world as one of its leading stars who already cemented his legacy.

Paulo will be heading the main event at Brave 3: Battle in Brazil on March 18th at Curitiba against Lucas "Mineiro" Martins. Lucas is a former UFC talent who is regarded as the hottest prospects in Brazil with a glaring record of 18 wins and just 3 losses.

But Paulo and his team is confident that hottest talent is no match for the experience and grit. His rivalry with the Chute Boxe fighter is well known and will be pivotal in the fight card.

The Fan Garage managed to catch up with Paulo for a quick exclusive interview courtesy of Hari Bhagirath of KHK MMA. And Paulo had the following to say.

On his upcoming match against Lucas:

"I'm going to humiliate Lucas in front of his home crowd. He's going to fight in front of his fellow Chute Boxe colleagues in Curitiba, and this is a reason itself for me to defeat him mercilessly. He knows this, that's why he dodged me for so long. I will beat him and then I'm going to ask Brave Combat Federation for a fight in India"

About MMA in India:

"I believe India will repeat the same pattern of growth in combat sports just like Brazil. There are Indian stars rising each day conquerng the global scene. Abdul Muneer, Vijender Singh, Gurdarshan Mangat and Sakshi Malik are just the first waves of the tide that will sweep the International scene. With giant global promotions like Brave Combat Federation turning their attention towards Indian market, the list will definitely keep growing. During my visit to India I was fortunate to make amazing friends in Pune and Mumbai. I cannot forget to mention the names such as Mayur Bansode and Abdul Muneer. India had given me a warm reception and lots of respect, I'm really looking forward to go back to India, and fight in India if the nation manages to host a Brave event anytime and that would be the perfect scenario",

Brave 3: Battle in Brazil, hosted at the Max Rosenmann Arena, will also feature the first ever Indian fighter to compete in an international promotion abroad, the two-time national champion Pawan Maan Singh, who is set to face America's James Pou.
