Saina & Sindhu's exit from All England ends Indian participation

SAINA NEHWAL AND PV SINDHU were defeated in the quarter-finals of the All England Championship.

They were up against tough opponents who are in the race to lift this coveted trophy.

Sindhu took the court first and was up against top seed Tai Tzu Ying. It was an easy win for the Chinese Taipei shuttler as she took the match in straight games 21-14, 21-10.

Later in the night (IST), Saina took on third seed Korean Sung Ji Hyun. Saina put up a great fight in both the games. In the initial stages of both the games, it was a neck-to-neck battle but after the interval Sung took complete control of the match.

Sung Ji won the match in straight games, 22-20, 22-20.

With their exit, it ended the Indian participation at the All England and the quest to see a third Indian being crowned still continues.
