TFG SmackDown Live Review: New contender Crowned, Cena and Nikki teams up

The latest episode of SmackDown Live has given us a picture of how WrestleMania might shape up. A new contender for the WWE championship was crowned and at the same time the show also witnessed some segments which had long term implications.

Cena and Nikki teams up

John Cena and Nikki Bella teamed up to face James Ellsworth and Carmella this week on the show. Cena and Nikki came out victorious in the match but was assaulted in the post-match segment by Maryse and Miz. Miz delivered a strong promo afterwards and the storyline has already captured the attention of WWE fans.

Orton heads to WrestleMania

Randy Orton and AJ Styles had a great match to cap off SmackDown. Orton secured a huge win in the end, and thanks to the same, he will now be heading to WrestleMania to challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE title. Orton vs. Bray was one match that most people saw coming and the way in which WWE twisted and turned the plot needs appreciation.Styles has a heated argument with Shane McMahon

Styles lost to Orton as mentioned earlier and after the match, he had a heated argument with Shane McMahon backstage. WWE’s intentions to put Shane and Styles together in a match are evident from this and next week, we might get an idea of how they are planning to move the storyline forward.
