Srikanth, Harshit & Subhankar in RD 2 of German GPG while Tanvi ends her campaign
MEN'S SINGLES SHUTTLERS Kidambi Srikanth, Harshit Aggarwal and Subhankar Dey had a good outing on the first day of German Grand Prix Gold while women's singles shuttler Tanvi Lad ended her campaign.
Tanvi was trumped by Priskila Siahaya 14-21, 12-21. 12th seed Srikanth defeated Alen Roj 21-4, 21-11; Harshit defeated Bjorn Seguin 18-21, 21-8, 21-16; Subhankar trumped Zhao Junpeng 16-21, 21-17, 21-19.
They are slated to play later today and early morning on Thursday. Harshit and Subhankar will be facing tough opponents in 8th seed Hu Yun and 5th seed Ng Ka Long Angus.
