FULL MATCH: Jeje's brace & Sony's comeback helps Bagan hammer Valencia 4-1, reach AFC Cup group stage

AFTER BEING HELD to a 1-1 draw at the away leg, Mohun Bagan came out all guns blazing at the home leg of their AFC Cup group stage qualifying playoff tie against Club Valencia from Maldives.

Jeje Lalpekhlua scored an emphatic brace, and forced an own goal on the visitors, and Sony Norde piled on with a wonderful late goal to give Mohun Bagan a 4-1 victory at Rabindra Sarobar, beating Club Valencia by an emphatic 5-2 margin.

This victory means Mohun Bagan have booked their place in the Group E of AFC Cup, where they will join Maziya from Maldives, Dhaka Abahani from Bangladesh and India's very own defending league champions Bengaluru FC. Their campaign will being on 14th March with a match against BFC at the Kanteerava Stadium.
