Play-by-Play: Churchill show signs of fightback DSK outplayed by great overall performance by Churchill

CHURCHILL ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT in all departments with tactical changes by Derrick Pereira worked for the Goan side.

The home side started with an attacking formation with a three defence line. Although the opening exchanges did not show any side dominating the game. But slowly both teams had a chance a piece and the the keepers were tested. AFter that, Churchill showing intention of going forward everytime had Brandon, Kromah and Wolfe in the action in the passing exchange for the most part in the first half.

DSK were mosty restricted their attacks from set pieces through Quero. The final ball was missing from the away side. They were kept away from the Churchill goal by some sturdy defence by Adil Khan.

After a goalless first period, Wolfe scored a beautiful goal beating Subrata on his near post, making up for his earlier miss. Within 5 minutes Kromah had doubled the home side's lead. Rogers made a couple of attacking changes pulling out Quero and adding young Pranjal, who almost had an immediate effect on the game as he hit the crossbar.

Churchill were crusing as they added a third which was screamer from Mollick. That was the final nail in DSK's coffin as they burried DSK with some brilliant display of football.
