Mohun Bagan will drop points says winger Sony Norde

MOHUN BAGAN ARE ON A TWELVE MATCH UNBEATEN run and Sony Norde has warned that form can change at any time. The Haitian national team player has not been seen in his best fitness from the past couple of matches. Norde suffered a meniscal tear in the knee after the last I-League and said to be out of action for a while. He did not travel with the team in yesterday's AFC Cup qualifiers clash against Club Valencia yesterday.

Norde, on the recent defeat of East Bengal FC by Aizawl FC, who had been undefeated till then, said,

"All major teams will lose and drop points. Even Mohun Bagan. So we have to be prepared. All we can do is to make sure every player is in prime condition for every match."

Bagan will drop points: Norde

That comes as Mohun Bagan remain as the only team in the I-League to have not lost a single game so far this season. Norde throws a warning sign for Mohun Bagan to prepare themselves for a fall like East Bengal did last week.

Mohun Bagan play Club Valencia in the home leg of the AFC Cup qualifiers on February 28 at 7 pm.
