Ashwin makes Mushfiqur Rahim sign the match-ball after getting his 250th wicket

FOLLOWING India’s win over Bangladesh in the lone-Test held at Hyderabad, Ravichandran Ashwin got the cricket ball autographed by Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim, who happened to be his 250th Test wicket.

By picking up 250 wickets in 45 Tests, the Chennai-lad broke Dennis Lillee’s record of 48 Tests to become the quickest bowler to achieve the milestone. Following the post-match presentation ceremony, Ashwin walked towards Mushfiqur asking him to sign the ball in order to keep it as a souvenir.

As reported by Sportstarlive.com, Musfiqur divulged,

“Yes, Ashwin wanted the ball to be signed by me as I happen to be his 250th victim. I am glad to be part of this cricketing history.”

Meanwhile, Ashwin also displayed a nice gesture by sharing spin tips with Bangladesh teen-sensation Mehedi Hasan. The BCCI took to its official twitter handle to share images from a session where Mehedi fine-tuned his bowling skills from Ashwin.
