UFC 208: Full Fight Card Preview and Analysis

The UFC PPV drought, that begun following UFC 207 marking the end of last year, comes to an end this weekend as the promotion returns to New York, for the third time in four months, as UFC 208 takes place in Brooklyn. The card is set to be headlined by a bout for the inaugural UFC Women's Featherweight championship, while a MMA legend is set to do battle in the co-main with a crucial battle between ranked middleweights set for the main  card too.

UFC gets a new title at UFC 208

The UFC 208 bill has been widely criticised for the perceived lack of starpower, especially considering that this is the promotion's first foray into Brooklyn, New York. A lot of that can be attributed to the promotion's inability to build up newer stars in the vein of Conor Mcgregor and Ronda Rousey, both of whose immediate futures seem to be uncertain, to say the least.

But, the show has to go on and in keeping with the vein of recent happenings with the UFC, yet another title enters the picture, albeit with much reservation, as the talent pool in the 145-lbs division isn't the deepest even outside the promotion. But for now, nobody is complaining as two of the division's most accomplished strikers are set to fight it out to decide who will walk away the champion, when UFC 208 concludes.

Let's look at the fights scheduled on the main card and I offer my picks on the same.
