Play-by-Play: An own goal, soft penalties as Aizawl maintain 100% home win record

AIZAWL WERE ON THE ATTACK FROM THE START but failed to get a shot on target. Churchill were ahead with a soft penalty earned. Aizawl stepped up thier attacks and were breathing down the neck of the Churchill defence. They equalised in a similar fashion through a penalty. After conceding the goal, Churchill Brothers barely managed a shot on target.

Kamo gave the home side the lead when he turned quickly and snapped a shot from close range. The away side had by then given up hopes of getting any points from their travel. They conceded an own goal moving towards the end of the game highlighting the poor coordination between the defence and the keeper.
