Santosh Kashyap on the game against Minerva said the pitch condition must be improved

MUMBAI ARE COMING INTO THE GAME with four straight losses. Santosh Kashyap was at the pre-match press conference answering questions from journalists.
On the dissappointing run of Mumbai FC, Mumbai FC Coach replied to a question if Mumbai would go on the attack or play the game defensively saying,

"Yes, Off course we are coming with three defeats, it put us under pressure and we’ll surely try to win three points"

Minerva Punjab, who have had their troubles with getting positives results in their favour, are looking for their first win of the season. Kashyap, shared his thoughts on the game against Minerva saying,

"We had a great victory against a Well balanced side DSK Shivajians. Our downfall started after our defeats against big teams. Now it’s tough to face a new team like Minerva Punjab FC, fighting side. We lost to them in the DSK cup in Pune previously."

Mumbai's Hitesh Sharma, who hails from Jalandhar, shared that he was part of Chandigarh football academy, then moved to TFA and then he had a chance to play in Mumbai and this is the start of his career.

Talking about the pitch conditions in Minerva home ground, Kashyap acknowledged the talent platform provided by the owner of the team saying,

"Earlier, Punjab had hosted great teams. I congratulate Minerva Punjab FC for providing an opportunity for the local talents. But when new setup comes, challenges are bound to pop up. The ground is definitely a concern, Minerva should try to improve the pitch"
