Bellator 170: Ortiz stuns Sonnen, Daley Get flashy KO win

TITO ORTIZ MADE QUICK work of Chael Sonnen at Bellator 170 to end his career on a high. Ortiz submitted Sonnen via a rear-naked choke after escaping an early D’Arce attempt from Sonnen.

Ortiz got a win in his last match

This was first time that Sonnen and Ortiz faced off against each other after wrestling in college. The fight also marked the return of Sonnen from retirement after a three year gap. Ortiz, meanwhile, retires from the sport with a professional record of 19-12 to his name.

Paul Daley got a highlight reel KO win over Brennan Ward in the co-main event. The fight had a first round finish with Daley landing a vicious flying knee to get the win. Below are the full results from the event.
