Even at 2 am, Bagan fans are there to welcome Sony Norde at the airport

On thursday morning 2:00 am, Mohun Bagan fans and media  welcomed their talisman winger Sony Norde, at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.

The Haitian,who recently became a father, had some issues regarding his tickets and hence, missed the I League opener against Churchill Brothers. Norde, is one of the fan favourite as he was instrumental in helping Mohun Bagan win the I-League in 2014-15 by scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists.It was a great addition to Mohun Bagan's trophy cabinet as they added their 248th title, it was however, after a long time as they had last won the old National Football League back in 2001-02. 

Norde will play his third season at Mohun Bagan after being awarded the 'Best Foreign Player' in both his preceeding two seasons. The Haitian was delighted with the fans 'love' and 'passion' for their team, which is also the reason that he is staying with Mohun Bagan for the third season.

With the help of Norde, Mohun Bagan will clearly challange Bengaluru Fc for this year's I-league crown.
