LEAVE US ALONE: Virat Kohli quashes engagement rumours with Anushka Sharma 

INDIA TEST SKIPPER Virat Kohli thwarted media reports stating that he is now engaged with actress Anushka Sharma with the couple currently vacationing in Narendranagar. The speculation created a buzz on the internet as heavy weights Amitabh Bachchan and the Ambanis too were spotted at the hill station.

Reports in the media also suggested that the couple are slated to get engaged on January 1, 2017, in presence of family and friends. 

Despite Yash Raj Films (YRF) refuting the news, the rumours did not die down.

“No, the reports of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli’s engagement is just not true and there are no such plans of the duo to our knowledge.”

Now to end all the rumours, Kohli has himself announced on his social media handles that the engagement is not on the cards for the duo. The maestro tweeted:
