Striker Alex Akande to arrive at East Bengal for trials on December 23

Alex Akande, the Nigerian born Hong Kong international is set to come to the East Bengal for trial on December 23. He will also give his medical test if found worthy of a place for the Red and Gold. He has played for Kitchee SC in the Hong Kong Premier League.

Stiker Akande scored nine goals for Hong Kong champions Kitchee in 13 appearances for the club. Akande has also played for a short while under when Jose Molina was appointed the Coach of Kitchee.

He has played for the Hong Kong national team and scored on his debut. For the national team, he played I in three 2018 World Cup AFC qualification second round matches as well.

Akande will be the likely replacement for stiker Do Dong-hyun who left East Bengal last month.
