6 Mumbai City players who drove their campaign in right (or wrong) directions

MUMBAI FINISHING ON TOP OF THE LEAGUE won them a semi-final playoff with Atletico de Kolkata. This year was a turn around year for the Mumbai based franchise as they got things sorted from the mistakes of the past seasons. They got in a new coach and made a couple of good signings and retained the better performers and those investments have paid off with the team getting the first semi-final in three years.

Mumbai were drawn against 3 time semi-finalists ATK and Mumbai looked as favourites given their form and squad strengths. But all efforts by Mumbai were in vain as they could not rise to the occasion and make most of the opportunity presented to them.

There didn't seem to be much in common between the Mumbai of the league stage and Mumbai in the semi-finals and they paid the price for that. But despite all that, this was a memorable season for Mumbai City, and many of their players stood out big times for reasons good and bad.
