Finnish medio Alexei Eremenko undergoing trials at Mumbai FC

FINLAND FOOTBALLER ALEXEI EREMENKO arrives in the city to undergo trials with the I-League club Mumbai FC. 

Having played 57 matches for Finland, the Finnish comes in with bag full of experience into the squad and would look to cement his position in Mumbai.

The medio began playing for Lecce FC, an Italian club that then played in Serie A. He's played in the Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock FC, 2010-2011 and then returned to play for the team in 2013-2015.

Before coming to Mumbai, he played for Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, a club that plays in Veikkausliiga which is the highest tier of the Finnish league system.

He's also played for Finnish club Jaro in 2010 and then returned in 2015. Jaro plays in the second tier league in Finland, Ykkönen. He has also played for clubs in the Russian Premier League, top division teams like Rubin Kazan and Saturn Ramenskoye.

Whether Mumbai FC will play in the top division league of the country is still uncertain but that isn't stopping them from going all out and adding all the ammunition they need for the upcoming season of I-League.
