Anirudh: Yes it was great match. It was an away game and the last game [of the season]. We wanted to win but we didn't but no problem. It's a game sometimes we lose, sometimes we win.

He also captained and won the AIFF Elite Academy U19 I-league in the 2015-2016 season.

Reporter: This is the end of the season, What are the positives that you can take?
Anirudh: I'm young and was so excited to play my first game with seniors I learnt a lot.It was one of the best experience of my lifetime.

Thapa was among the three U-19 national team players who received training with French club side FC Metz this year.

Reporter: Any favourites to win the ISL?
Anirudh: All teams are playing well. All top teams are playing well. I cannot say which team will win but Delhi are looking a strong side.
