Play by Play: Marcelinho hat-trick; Brace by Gadze as Delhi showed no mercy to Goa

ENTERTAINING DISPLAY BY DELHI in the opening part of the first half. Attack after attack and Goa spent most of the time chasing the ball as they hardly had any possession.Goa were presented by a rare opportunity to score and they did justice to the chance by taking the lead. Both teams went into the break with that scoreline. 

Delhi came into second half with the same attacking mindset but a more determined team. Marcelinho was given space and he thanked the away side by showing them what is was capable of. Gadze made it 3 -1 to the home side and Marcelinho scored from the well-worked free kick go on to score a hat-trick. Gadze with his second on the night but would not get a chance be the second hat-trick scorer.

FC Goa were not given any breathing space between the 4 goals in the second half. They could even get a consolation as they did not see any scoring chances being created. Delhi get closer to securing a semi finish. Goa have another game to play to end the season to bring some cheer by winnning the next game.
