TFG Predictions: ISL R12 -- The round where Mumbai City will enter the playoffs for the 1st time

THE RACE TO THE PLAYOFFS is just as tight as it was at the end of the last round.

After 44 matches, and with just 12 total matches left in the league stage, the team at the bottom of the table FC Goa (11 points from 11 games) can still overtake toppers Mumbai City (19 points from 12 games) in the end.

Not a single team has their place in the semi-finals sealed yet. Delhi Dynamos had the chance to permanently rise above the rest in the previous round, but they lost in a goalfest encounter to Pune, intensifying the battle in the points table.

But this round, we believe, is finally going to lift some of the fog over the semi-final race. In four crucial encounters that can make or break the top half of the points table, we will see seven of the eight teams fight it out.

Mumbai City play Chennaiyin FC. Pune City play two quick games away from home. Each match in this round is a potential six pointer and hard to call. But as usual, we at TFG are having a gander at predicting who will triumph in these potentially season-defining battles.

As the battle intensifies, TFG predicts that this round will see our wild card, Mumbai City FC, make their maiden entry into the Top 4.

Read on to see who will beat whom in ISL 2016 round 12, and why.
