Sunil's Night Out: the Indian captain explores Mumbai... at least a tiny part of it

AFTER CONQUERING KERALA in a convincing fashion, India and Bengaluru FC skipper Sunil Chhetri who is currently on loan at ISL franchise Mumbai City, took some time off to roam around in Mumbai.

When we say Mumbai, we mean a particular location in South Mumbai; around the Churchgate railway station.

Sunil shared a couple of photos from his Sunday adventures. First he headed to the famed Stadium Restaurant near the Churchgate station for a helping of bun-maska and irani chai.

Then, he hopped onto a local train in the Churchgate Station. It's unclear whether he went anywhere on that train.

While it's good to see the skipper go out and mingle, any Mumbaikar would be quick to point out to him that getting onto a train at Churchgate on a Sunday is kiddie stuff. If he wants to truly experience Mumbai, he has to have vada pao from a stall outside the Dadar station on a Monday evening, then board a train to Virar and try to get down at Borivali.

But Mumbai City fans would be relieved that he did not actually try those things. They need him fit for the upcoming crucial matches.
