WATCH: A tour of beautiful destinations in North-East India with Shillong Lajong players
SHILLONG LAJONG ARE one of the most prominent football clubs from North-East India, and the first to make it into the country's top division league from the region.
They also have the most expansive grassroots system over the North-Eastern states, which lets them hold camps and trials all over the region and select the most promising talents for their academy.
As a result, the Lajong roster today is full of young players that hail from different parts of North-East India. And in a web series, the club is letting those players showcase their hometowns and home states for the Indian football fans.
The travel series, called 'Lajong Amazing North East Diaries', which will take the viewers on a journey of multiple North-Eastern states, has just launched on YouTube. In the first episode, SLFC players Zodingliana Tochhawng, Samuel Lalmuanpuia and Isaac Vanmalsawma show off their favourite hangouts in the capital of Mizoram, Aizawl. Future episodes will see them exploring some exotic travel destinations in Mizoram.
