WHAT A JODI: Ajinkya Rahane & Arjen Robben, both exchange jerseys as Diwali gift

INDIA BATSMAN Ajinkya Rahane had all the reasons to celebrate Diwali in great fashion following the team’s emphatic 190-run win over New Zealand in the fifth ODI to clinch the five-match ODI series 3-2. But after receiving an official FC Bayern Munich jersey as a Diwali gift from the German football club, Rahane’s festival of lights became extra special. 

Rahane, who scored 143-runs in the recently concluded ODI series, was gifted a 27-number home-kit, a number that is donned by FCB’s versatile midfielder-defender David Alaba. 

Rahane took to his twitter account to wish his followers on the eve of the festival. The Mumbai-lad shared a picture with the gifted jersey and captioned it with the club’s motto – ‘#MiaSanMia’ which roughly translates to “We are who we are.”
