Bengaluru players get 3 days off after triumph over Johor, will leave for Doha on 1st November

AFTER OVERCOMING Johor Darul Ta'zim in the AFC Cup semi-finals, Bengaluru FC players have been given a much-needed respite from their gruelling training schedule ahead of the grand finale.

The Blues are taking on the AirForce Club from Iraq at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium at Al-Wakrah in Doha. That match will take place on 5th November, which is a good two weeks away. So head coach Albert Roca has decided to give his players a break for 3 days so they can come back recovered from the fatigue of the semi-finals.

BFC players warm up for the semi-final second leg.

The players will come back to training on 23rd, and continue practicing at home. The team departs for Doha on 1st November. They are not planning to play any practice matches; they didn't do that during the long break between the two legs of the AFC Cup semi-finals either.

Along with the team, a number of fans are also planning to travel to Doha to witness the match as BFC attempt to become the first Indian club to win a major Asian trophy.
