Play by Play : Succi wins it with a volley for Chennaiyin FC as they beat NorthEast United

NORTHEAST UNITED came into the game with just one loss on the way. Chennaiyin slowly creeping up the points table with stable victories. CFC have played the patient game today to sieze the moment from mostly long rangers by Peluso who drew the best from Subrata on 2 occasions. Northeast were hit badly when Velez had to subbed early in the first half. 

It took a moment of brilliance from David Succi who didn't have the best of game today being the target man of all long balls. Great technique to finish off the goal. Northeast applied pressure late in the second half through wing plays. Alfaro looked frustrated towards the end as he didn't get many opportunities in front of goal.

The late surge of attacks from NorthEast was too little and too late to create the equalizer. In the end, Chennayin FC turned victorious by an individual moment.
