Zlatan to play for Delhi Dynamos? 'Will try', says head coach Zambrotta

HEAD COACH OF DELHI DYNAMOS is on a roll being undefeated in two games of the ISL. Exclusively speaking to Indian Express mentioned Zlatan Ibrahimovic like many of his friends like himself may be interested to come and play in the ISL once he is past his prime. He went on to say,

“Given his fan following in India, Zlatan would want to come and end his career here. On my end, I will definitely try and convince him to play for Delhi Dynamos"

Del Piero played for the Dynamos played a vital role in getting Zambrotta to India Sharing his story Zambrotta said,

“Del Piero told me good things about the club and their sincerity towards football, which convinced me that it is the perfect opportunity for me"

He was content with the way things were going in the league. He went on to say,

“I am happy to have a professional set of players on my team. This allows us to work hard and the results from the first two matches are a good testament to the way they have been responding to our training sessions"

On his view and what the future holds for Indian football said,

“India will soon be a big destination for international football. Given the level of competitiveness in the Indian Super League and the quality of Indian players, I am sure it will be amongst the top five football leagues of the world in the next decade”
