CHENNAIYIN FC narrowly missed out on securing 3 points in their campaign opener against ATK after conceding a penalty in the dying moments of the game. However they did manage to salvage a point and will be looking forward to bag a win at the Marina Arena.

CFC led by Marco Materazzi will be facing Delhi Dynamos in their first home game which also happens to be the opening game for the Lions who are guided by the World Cup winning Gianluca Zambrotta as their coach . As defending champions, the "Marina Machans" will be looking forward to give the fans something to cheer about and claim a crucial home victory which is vital to their title defence.
