WATCH: Players and coaches of Pune City's academy share their experience

HAILING FROM the Queen of the Deccan, FC Pune City is one of the promising football clubs amongst the ISL franchises. Inspite of not making it to the playoffs in the last two editions, the Punekars still seem determined to make a mark right from the grassroots. F.C. Pune City took over Pune F.C.'s academy on the 26th of August this year and have announced their youth development programs which includes participating in the U-17 and U-19 divisions of I-League as well as the Subroto Cup and the Pune Football League.

As one of the first ISL clubs to set up its youth academy on a full scale, FC Pune City is looking forward to see their efforts see fruition. One of the academy's goalkeeper Anuj Kumar said,

"As good experience, we are playing for Pune City. They are giving good structures and follow-through. We can reach our destiny with that structure."
