Kashyap upset with the loss but positive & happy to be back on court
PARUPALLI KASHYAP, one of India's most promising shuttlers at present ranked 74th is happy to return to action. The reason his ranking slipped is because he was out of action for more than two months due an injury.
Since he was nursing the injury, he missed on the chance to make it to Rio Olympics. He returned to the court with Indonesia Grand Prix Gold but lost to Ajay Jayaram in the second round.
He then participated in the ongoing Japan Open Superseries but was ousted by Srikanth in the first round. The 28-year-old is dejected but happy to be playing in a Superseries tournament after a year.
He took to Twitter to share his emotions and that he is pumped up to play at the Korea Superseries which begins next week.
