Indian shuttlers climb the ladder in the newly released BWF rankings
RANKINGS OF THE INDIAN SHUTTLERS in the following categories, men's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles have improved according to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on Thursday.
Men's singles shuttler Kidambi Srikanth climbs up to No. 11 from 13 while Ajay Jayaram and Parupalli Kashyap moved up one spot to be 20 and 24 respectively. Swiss Open winner HS Prannoy bettered his ranking by three spots to be ranked 27.
Manu Attri/Buss Sumeeth Reddy and Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa climbed up a spot each to be 19 and 15 respectively in the men's doubles and women's doubles category.
Meanwhile, women's singles shuttlers Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu stayed where they were in the rankings, remaining constant at No. 8 and 10 respectively.
