Vizag is the new venue for Mumbai Indians for their remaining three home games

AMIDST ALL THE SPECULATION revolving around the shifting of venues, the defending champions Mumbai Indians look all set to move their home matches in May to Visakhapatnam. Last week, the Bombay High Court came out strongly in support of the petitioners and ruled that the matches to be held after April, would have to be shifted outside the state of Maharashtra. 

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and the Maharashtra Cricket Association had filed separate pleas in the Supreme Court last week, against the Bombay High Court’s order. However, the SC had dismissed the appeals made by them.

Currently, as per the reports, the Mumbai Indians will play their remaining three home games in Visakhapatnam.
