TFG WWE Headlines of the Day: Hogan wins big money, Seven hours of WrestleMania and more

Hogan won his court case against Gawker

Hulk Hogan wins court case against Gawker

WWE legend Hulk Hogan has won his court case against Gawker and has pocketed a whopping amount of $115 Million in the process. Gawker had earlier released the trailer of Hogan’s sex tape without his knowledge and this caused a whirl wind of controversy and even forced WWE to fire Hogan. Hogan was awarded $60 Million for emotional distress when he got another $55 Million for economic injuries.

Mick Foley at WrestleMania

Mick Foley made his appearance last week on Monday Night Raw but no major announcements were made about his plans for WrestleMania. Despite this, Foley is set to play a cameo role in the pay-per-view and it would be similar to what NWO and DX had at the last year’s show.

Seven hours of WrestleMania

As of now, the WWE Network is planning to show WrestleMania as a seven-hour show. The kick-off pre-show would last around two hours when the actual show would be for four hours. This would be followed by a one-hour fallout show as well.

Vince McMahon planning big Surprise for WrestleMania

Vince McMahon is apparently planning to have a double surprise for this year’s WrestleMania. He will be following the pattern he had for WrestleMania 31 where he allowed Seth Rollins to cash in at the last moment. Something similar could be expected this year with high profile matches like Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon and Triple H vs. Roman Reigns in place.
