IT WAS A HAPPY BIRTHDAY INDEED for World No. 6 Saina Nehwal who sealed a place in the quarter finals of the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold. The top seed Indian defeated Kristina Gavnholt in straight games, 21-18, 21-17. Saina will now take on Sayaka Sato, currently World No 13, in her next game.

The Indian star dominates the head-to-head count against Sato with four wins in their five encounters.
