IPL-9 Player Auction: Utility cricketers who could strengthen debutants Gujarat Lions’ squad
THE GUJARAT LIONS will make their debut in the IPL player auction tomorrow in Bengaluru. The Lions have already added Suresh Raina (cap), Brendon McCullum, Ravindra Jadeja, James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo in their squad during the IPL draft a month ago.
That said, the new entrants will be keen on adding some dashing openers in their scheme of things. The Lions also don’t have a frontline bowler and Indian all-rounder and the Gujarat think-tank will be eyeing those slots going ahead.
Like the Supergiants, the Gujarat Lions too will have the auction purchase at 27 crores. The newcomers will have a list of 351 players to choose from in the auction and we have come up with a few key names the Lions should be looking to add into the team tomorrow. Take a look.
