Second edition of Daredevils Corporate Cup attracts 24 teams

THE SECOND EDITION of the Daredevils Corporate Cup, which commenced in Delhi on September 20, has attracted 24 teams who will battle over the next five weekends for the title.

The inaugural match was played between Deloitte and Ernst & Young from Group A, followed by match between Muthoot Group and Daikin from Group B on Palam Airforce sports ground.

Some of the companies competing for the cup are Google, Make My Trip, Spicejet, Pavna Group, Mgage, Snap Deal, Jodhpur House, Indigo, Dominos, Metlife, Religare, Apollo Munich, Dial, and Damco.

In partnership with cricHQ, Daredevils Corporate Cup has also initiated live scoring of the tournament on the Delhi Daredevils official website.

The details of the tournament are as follows:
·         24 company teams split into 8 groups of 3 teams each.
·         Each team plays 2 league matches within its Group.
·         The top 1 team from each group qualifies for the QF stage
·         Winners move on to the SF stage and then the Final
 
 Sunil Walson (Delhi Daredevil –Team Manager), said:

With top corporates like Google, Deloitte, Snap Deal, Make My Trip, Pavna Group, Muthoot, Jodhpur House putting their best foot forward, we are anticipating fun filled highly competitive matches over the one month.”

He also adds:

“Delhi Daredevils has always played a pivotal role in promoting sports and it continues to nurture and encourage cricketing talent–fostering sportsmanship and cooperation among players”.
