India U-17 beat Spanish Club Alcala 11-0 in a friendly game
THE INDIA UNDER 17 team are on a tour of Europe to play practice games against well-known local sides and some national teams as well. After a series of mix results, a result that must have certainly brought smiles of the faces of the Indian colts was today’s result.
India under 17 team are currently in Spain and played a local team Alcala today. The Indian youngsters ran out a whopping 11-0 winners. India struck in the eight minute through Sarkar. At the 20 minute mark, India had doubled their lead through Ninthoi who went on to add a quick one just after his scored and completed his hat-trick with a goal in the 35th minute.
Sarkar went on to add another one before Ninthoi made in 6-0 for India at half time. It was at the game reached about an hour that Komal found the back of the net. Rahim Ali scored to increase India’s lead to 8 goals in the 73rd minute. Amarjit was the next Indian scorer who managed to add one along with Rahim to complete the final score lock at 11-0.
The Indian team left for the European exposure tour on in April under Coach Norton. Having played clubs in Portugal, the team proceeded to France, Italy and Hungary will be playing the Lazio Cup as well. The team has played matches against national under 17 teams as well.
This concentrated preparation is for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup which is being hosted by India from October 6 to October 28 this year.
