READ: Sporting heavyweights react to Kumble’s resignation letter
ON JUNE 20, Anil Kumble decided to quit from the post of India head coach and uploaded an open letter on Twitter. The legendary leggie mentioned that his relationship with skipper Virat Kohli was ‘untenable’ and that it was best for him to leave the post and move on.
Kumble’s decision to step down came as upset to a lot of fans and followers of Indian cricket. Apart from them, plenty of sporting heavyweights took to their official Twitter handles to share their opinions about the incident.
Expert commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle tweeted in anticipation to Kumble's departure.
If it is true that @anilkumble1074 has stepped down as coach, Indian cricket has let itself lose an outstanding resource.

Having said that, it is inevitable that if there is a falling out between captain and coach, the captain will have his way.

So the big question from Anil Kumble departing as coach of the Indian team .... who is the boss in a cricket team? the captain or the coach?
