UFC Fight Night Singapore: Facts You Should Know
UFC RETURNS TO ASIA with UFC Singapore this weekend. The Card will be headlined by Holly Holm and Bethe Correia and has a good amount of firepower on the undercard as well.

Heavyweight - Andrei Arlovski VS. Marcin Tybura
Welterweight - Dong Hyun Kim VS. Colby Covington
Welterweight - Tarec Saffiedine VS. Rafael dos Anjos

Welterweight - Li Jingliang vs. Frank Camacho
Bantamweight - Kwan Ho Kwak vs. Russell Doane
Flyweight - Naoki Inoue vs. Carls John de Tomas
Women's Bantamweight - Ji Yeon Kim vs. Lucie Pudilová
The Main Event:
- The former UFC 135-pound champion, who lost a decision against Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural featherweight gold at UFC 208, is targeted to meet Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC Fight Night 111
- After coming up short in her bid for the UFC’s inaugural women’s featherweight title, Holly Holm will return to 135 pounds in her Octagon appearance
- Holm (10-3) will enter the five-round bout on a three-fight losing skid. After a perfect start in the sport, winning 10 straight with seven knockout finishes, including the historical win over Ronda Rousey, Holm lost to Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko and de Randamie
- The 33-year-old Brazilian Bethe is 4-2-1 during her promotional tenure, including a split decision triumph over Jessica Eye at UFC 203
- Correia (10-2-1), who once challenged Rousey for the UFC bantamweight gold, is coming off a majority draw with Marion Reneau in March. Prior to the fight, “Pitbull" bounced back from a pair of consecutive losses with a split decision victory over Jessica Eye.
- Correia was knocked out in 34 seconds by Rousey in their title bout at UFC 190
Bout the Heavyweights colliding in the Octagon
- Former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski (25-14 MMA, 14-8 UFC), who’s ranked No. 12 despite a four-fight skid, takes on Marcin Tybura (15-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC), who looks for his third straight UFC win.
- Arlovski is badly in need of a win. After returning to the UFC in 2014 having won six of seven fights, he rattled off four straight victories, including knockouts of Antonio Silva and Travis Browne and decisions over Brendan Schaub and Frank Mir. But since then, it’s been a rough run with knockout losses to Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem, a submission loss to Josh Barnett and, most recently, a TKO loss to Francis Ngannou in 92 seconds at UFC on FOX 23 in January
- Tybura lost his promotional debut to Timothy Johnson 10 months ago, but since then he has back-to-back knockout wins. He stopped Viktor Pesta with a bonus-winning head kick at UFC Fight Night 92 this past August, and earlier this month he shut down Luis Henrique at UFC 209 in Las Vegas
Dong Hyun Kim will have an opportunity to tie his longest UFC winning streak ever
- Kim (22-3-1, 1 NC) heads the bout coming off a trio of wins over Tarec Saffiedine, Dominic Waters, and Josh Burkman
- His only loss over the last seven fights was a 2014 stumble at the hands of current UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley
- Covington (11-1), meanwhile, rides into the bout having unsuccessfully lobbied for a fight against former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
- Like Kim, Covington is also looking for his fourth straight UFC victory after going 3-0 in 2016 with victories over Bryan Barberena, Max Griffin, and Jonathan Meunier
Ex-champ Rafael dos Anjos meets Tarec Saffiedine at UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore
- Two former champs will meet in June at UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore
- Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-9 MMA, 14-7 UFC) and ex-Strikeforce welterweight titleholder Tarec Saffiedine (16-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC) are slated for a 170-pound fight at the event
