Ramchandra Guha steps down from BCCI's CoA after citing personal reasons

RAMCHANDRA GUHA has stepped down from the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA), after citing personal reasons.

Guha, along with former captain of the women's cricket team Diana Edulji and Managing Director and CEO of IDFC Limited Vikram Limaye, was a part of four-member CoA, headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai, to run the BCCI. As reported by ANI, Guha has sought the apex court's permission to relieve him of his duties.

The CoA was appointed early this year after the BCCI showed reluctance to implement the Lodha panel report. It was said that they will function as the new interim bosses of the BCCI and run the day-to-day administration of BCCI till the Lodha recommendations are fully implemented and till the BCCI elections are held.
